DS Pipe & Steel Supply LLC is a family-owned and operated wholesale distributor in Southwest Baltimore, Maryland. The company supplies the construction industry with steel pipe, valves, fittings, structural steel, and custom fabrication. In 1979 John W. Keehner and three partners founded D-S Pipe & Supply Co. The company was started with seven employees, one truck, and a 27,000-square-foot warehouse in Little Italy. In 1988, John Keehner bought out his partners, and the business grew rapidly.
With a long-anticipated entry back into the structural steel business, DS Steel Supply LLC was started in January 2007, and the business rapidly grew. In March 2009, the company tripled its size with four additional experienced and seasoned sales associates to carry the sales to the next level. In May 2011, DS Pipe & Supply and DS Steel Supply merged into one entity. The new company name is DS Pipe & Steel Supply LLC.
Today, Chris J. Keehner and Sean W. Keehner run the company with 140 full-time employees, a fleet of 26 trucks covering the Mid-Atlantic region daily, and an enclosed 400,000-square-foot warehouse offering next-day delivery on our trucks. As always, we have no cut-off times for placing orders, no minimum order, and we operate 24 hours a day, Sunday through Friday.
