Steel Round Tube - Welded

Welded steel round tubes are cylindrical hollow tubes made from steel that have been formed through a welding process. These tubes are created by joining together two or more steel plates or strips using heat and pressure, resulting in a continuous seam along the length of the tube. To connect the ends together, the metal is formed longitudinally using a series of metal rolls, where welds are made at the end of the rolling stations, and the two sides of the material are joined. Common processes include resistance welding, high-frequency induction welding, and laser welding. After the material has been welded into the tube shape, the newly formed tube is cut to a specific length, and the excess weld material is removed.

The use of welded steel round tubes is widespread across various industries due to their strength, durability, and versatility. Here are some common applications:

  • Structural Support: Welded steel round tubes are widely used in the construction industry for structural support purposes. They fabricate buildings, bridges, and other large structures, providing strength and stability.
  • Machinery and Equipment: These tubes have extensive use in manufacturing machinery and equipment. They are often utilized as structural components, frames, or supports in industrial machinery, conveyors, and material handling systems.
  • Automotive Industry: Welded steel round tubes are employed in the automotive sector to produce various components. They can be found in constructing chassis frames, exhaust systems, roll cages, and suspension parts.
  • Furniture and Appliances: The furniture industry frequently utilizes welded steel round tubes to create sturdy frames for chairs, tables, shelving units, and other types of furniture. Additionally, these tubes are used to manufacture appliances like refrigerators and ovens.
