Steam Traps

Steam traps remove condensate (water formed by the condensation of steam) and non-condensable gases from the steam lines without allowing steam to escape. They operate on the principle of temperature, density, or mechanical action to discharge condensate and prevent the loss of steam. Steam traps ensure that steam is efficiently utilized and not wasted, while also preventing water hammer and damage to equipment caused by the buildup of condensate.

Types of Steam Traps
